Tracy Fabre, Jan 27, 2012, 6:20PM ESTActually, I should say I'm sorry for not keeping up better - I've missed out on a lot of good posts the last few months (lazy, distracted, the holidays, the blah-idays) and that is MY loss!
-
Susan G., Jan 22, 2012, 11:55PM ESTThank you, John! I'm getting up there. Heck, I'm ten years older than Tracy! (And today is HER birthday.)

Jeanine Arnold, Jan 21, 2012, 7:14PM ESTThere's still some brick streets left in Pittsburgh but not as many as years back. The last couple of days it has been very snowy here. Brick streets are a bear when it snows. Very slippery.

Christina A., Jan 17, 2012, 7:35AM ESTThanks, John! I can't believe it's been five years. Time flies. Have a great day!

Hurree Oum Baboo, Jan 14, 2012, 2:24PM ESTDear John,
How are you doing?
I’ve written a book, “Ivory - An Anthology of Poems”. If you think you might be interested in reading my book and posting a review of it on Amazon.com, I’ll gladly send a complimentary copy if you’ll kindly reply with your email address. There is no obligation, of course.

Kasey Klein, Jan 9, 2012, 5:13PM ESTI just treated myself to Adobe CS5 (creative suite 5) which is a powerful, dynamic bundle of software. One title, Adobe Indesign, which I've used for years without really knowing how to use it, I'm studying now, to learn all the tricks, bells and whistles.
Indesign can create the files for publication no matter where you wish to publish, from a simple flyer for the printer to an electronic book in any format offerer. I've used Indesign to do my book interiors for POD printing.
I figured since I paid close to $1400 for the software, I'd invest the time to really learn how to use it.
Outside the suite, I just used MUSE, another Adobe title, to upgrade my website. Muse is fantastic, ALL drag and drop, no HTML required. -
Susan Budig - Mindful Poet, Jan 4, 2012, 6:45PM ESTI'm making my own guilt. I pull up the Mindful Poetry page, look at all I have to do (accepting poems, reading them, commenting, posting a new form for January...) and I quickly shut the window. Ugh. :-) I'll get to it soon. I only have one client with a deadline at the moment.
-
Susan Budig - Mindful Poet, Jan 4, 2012, 1:34PM ESTThanks, John, for checking up on me. It must be in your blood--that check-up habit. ;-)
I'm fine, but so busy. Which is NOT an excuse to ignore Mindful Poetry. So that makes a layer of guilt grow on me like fuzz on a forgotten orange at the bottom of the bag. -
Susan G., Jan 2, 2012, 5:48PM ESTDang! I felt too bad to check my ping page for medical advice! I had chicken soup and herbal tea with honey. Was that almost as good as hot lemonade?

Mariana T., Jan 1, 2012, 3:06PM ESTJohn, Thank you for always commenting on my posts - you are such a neat Gather friend and I hope that this year my computer doesn't go bonkers and I can comment more on your wonderful work. All the best for a wonderful new year ahead. Salud
